Saratoga Make Over

The aim was to maximize the existing floor space and make it more livable. We achieved this by rearranging some of the internal floor plan.

 - The original kitchen area faced south and was in a very small space on the lower level of the house, which was separate from the dining and living room. We totally changed the layout by removing walls, which made the new kitchen face north and become apart of the upper level dining and living room area. This now gave lots of natural light into the kitchen and created classic ‘open plan’ living.

 - An internal laundry with a second toilet and shower was then installed into the old kitchen area, which the property did not have before.

 - The main bedroom and hallway area also had walls moved to create an ensuite. This bathroom area was made quiet large with a bathtub, toilet, hand basin and large shower with a semi frameless screen.

 - The property was given a total ‘make over’ internally with new carpets, blinds, built in robes, doors, down lights, paint, tiles and windows. The exterior was rendered and painted in matching modern colours to compliment the interiors.

 - We replaced the old rotted decking with new hardwood timber decking with matching privacy screens and stainless steel wiring. A glass handrail was installed at the front entry.

All aspects of the project were coordinated by TDG Building Pty Ltd and were delivered on time and within budget.
